This year I used the sea glass paint method...mixed ModPodge and a little acrylic paint, then painted a few layers, with plenty of time to dry between. I printed a label I designed from Powerpoint, that simply reads "Cookies", and used the bright butterfly fabric to cover the lid since it had the closes colors. That bow over the twine "ribbon" is an earring I found at a thrift store. I just glued it onto the knot.
Apparently it worked! We went to the fair last Tuesday to see all the exhibits, and for the first year ever, my cookie jar was wearing a blue ribbon!!!!!!!!
