Here are two recipes for laundry soap that have been shared with me. Feel free to use and enjoy! Share more if you have them!
1/3 bar Fels Naptha
1/2 cup washing soda
1/2 cup borax powder
2 gallon (at least) container
And...LOTS OF WATER!
Grate the soap & put it in a saucepan. Add 6 cups water & heat until soap melts. Add the washing soda & borax. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat. Pour 4 cups hot water into the container. Add soap mixture into the container & stir. Add 1 gallon plus 6 cups of water & stir. I also add a few drops of Lavender Essential Oils to the batch. Let the soap sit for about 24hrs & it will gel. Use 1/2 cup per load.

Be sure to add ingredients one at a time and stir well after each addition and occasionally as final mix cools.

You don't have to wear rubber gloves but be sure you don't get borax on your face.
